One post a week was enough to become ChatGPT's number one.

The starting point

work-wear24 is a specialist workwear shop in Baar. Its online competition is Würth and JUMBO, both corporations with marketing budgets that a specialist shop can't compete with. work-wear24 started with the smallest plan: one post a week.

What we did

We didn't try to beat the corporations on the big search terms. Instead, we focused on two areas: local search, where a business from Baar is unbeatable, and detailed technical questions, where corporations only have product pages.

No corporate shop explains standards like EN ISO 20471 for high-visibility clothing. A specialist shop does.

1. 9 June 2026 Start with one post a week, the smallest plan.
2. From July The standards posts reach page 1 for high-visibility clothing and catering shoes.
3. 15 August 2026 Position 1 for workwear Baar. ChatGPT names work-wear24 as its first recommendation.
4. Today The pace stays at one post a week.

The result

On Google, work-wear24 ranks number 1 for the most important local search, top of the organic results, with its business profile showing 4.7 stars alongside.

But the real breakthrough lies elsewhere. Ask ChatGPT about workwear in the Zug region, and the answer, in essence, is that you should go to work-wear24 first. Würth and JUMBO follow in second and third place.

A specialist shop with one post a week ranks above two corporations in the AI's answer. That's the difference between an advertising budget and expertise made findable.

Why this worked

AI systems look for answers, not adverts. Anyone who explains a standard clearly and says which shoe suits which kitchen gets cited. A product catalogue doesn't.
