The story
SimpleTrain helps travellers plan and book train journeys across Europe. The competition online are the railways themselves and travel portals with large editorial teams. Anyone searching for 'night train from Switzerland' found SBB, Nightjet and portals, but not SimpleTrain.

For 'the best connections to Europe', Google's AI Overview opens with a sentence from the post and names SimpleTrain as the first source, ahead of ADAC.
Nine days after it was published, a young provider appeared on the same page as SBB. Not with the bigger budget, but with the better answer.
