Schulz Media Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Marco Schulz, Schulz Media, Eichenstrasse 13, 8280 Kreuzlingen TG (hereinafter «Schulz Media») and the client. Deviating terms from the client only apply if confirmed in writing.

2. Conclusion of contract

A contract is formed through written order confirmation from Schulz Media or by the start of service delivery. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise agreed.

3. Services & delivery times

The scope of services is set out in the quote or contract. For standard web design projects, delivery takes 7 days from the client providing all materials in full. Delays caused by missing content or approvals are the client's responsibility.

4. Prices & payment terms

All prices are in CHF, excluding VAT. For projects from CHF 5,000, billing is usually staggered (e.g. 30% on commissioning, 30% after MVP delivery, 40% after final acceptance). Service subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, with payment due within 14 days net.

5. Client's duties to cooperate

The client undertakes to provide all materials, content, access and approvals needed for the service in good time. Schulz Media is entitled to adjust delivery deadlines accordingly in case of repeated delays.

6. Copyright & usage rights

Once payment has been made in full, the client receives unrestricted usage rights to the contractually agreed services. Schulz Media reserves the right to use completed projects as a reference in its own communications, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

7. AI-generated content and automatic publishing

Posts are created with the help of artificial intelligence. BlogPilot checks them for form and style but cannot guarantee factual accuracy (in particular figures, names, deadlines and legal statements). The customer reviews posts before publication. If the customer enables automatic publishing, they waive this review; posts are then published once the chosen deadline has passed, unless the customer withdraws them. The customer remains responsible for the published content and indemnifies BlogPilot against third-party claims arising from such content, unless BlogPilot has acted with gross negligence or intent.

8. Liability

Schulz Media is liable for direct damages caused by demonstrably gross negligence or intent. Liability is limited to the contractually agreed order value. No liability is accepted for loss of profit, data loss or consequential damages.

9. Termination & contract duration

Service subscriptions (e.g. SEO service, AI chatbot hosting) have a minimum term as stated in the quote, after which they can be cancelled monthly with 30 days' notice to the end of the month. One-off projects can only be stopped by mutual agreement once the order has been confirmed; work already carried out must be paid for.

10. Data protection

Schulz Media processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and the EU GDPR. See the privacy policy for details.

11. Place of jurisdiction & applicable law

The place of jurisdiction is Kreuzlingen TG. Swiss law applies exclusively, excluding the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

12. Severability clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to its economic purpose.
